London Car-free Sundays

What is it about?

Introducing Car-free Sundays in Central London and borough town centres.

Inspiration: the many car-free Sundays that exist in a number of responsible cities around the world such as Paris or Singapore.

Why this project?

To reduce air and noise pollution, to be less oil-dependant in general, to give residents an idea of their locality with fewer cars, to encourage people to buy locally and participate in local events, to feel safe to walk and cycle, to relax… and to reflect publicly and collectively on the lessons of this experience.

For whom?

For Londoners and London visitors.
